SUSPICIOUS MINDS: 032c Readytowear Fall/Winter 2025

032c launches SUSPICIOUS MINDS, the Fall/Winter 2025 collection of 032c Readytowear with a runway show during Men’s Paris Fashion Week at Maison des Métallos on January 23, 2025.

Typically what cannot be seen, is what we most like to see. And what cannot be comprehended, is what we are most interested in investigating.

A suspicious mind has an attitude that interrogates. It critically analyzes the status quo and acknowledges that certain knowledge is impossible, particularly what is presented as a mere belief or dogma. SUSPICIOUS MINDS is an antithesis to the state of mind of a bigot, as it embraces what is unknown and might remain so.

With the Fall/Winter 2025 collection, creative director Maria Koch suggests breaking down forms and silhouettes as a counterexample, as sartorial exaggeration. Closely related to past collections, SUSPICIOUS MINDS continues to establish 032c Readytowear as an anti-Zeitgeist uniform that defies seasonal moods. Classic and timeless garments receive an unexpected twist through outlandish and occult references. European traditionalisms are in conversation with dystopian landscapes—a merged sphere where Bambi mohair, mille-fleur patterns, and daisies that seem to be melting on bomber jackets and knitwear are confronted with collapsing crosses and alpine undertones. Traditional clothing such as janker jackets for men, proportions taken from Dirndl dresses for women, and classic tailoring are disrupted through accentuated body shapes, decorated crotches, and macabre, unanticipated elements. 032c’s Fall/Winter 2025 intends to disrupt your mind and move past solidified beliefs through collapsing silk collars and waterproof seam, seal-coated, cotton coats.

SUSPICIOUS MINDS is where traditionalism meets the new, where “die Tracht” meets a contemporary city uniform. It asks how we can distance ourselves from the old and let in the new—of which accepting the unknown is a part of. The Fall/Winter 2025 collection questions everything while celebrating relentless continuity.
