032c x B1OCK Warehouse Party in Hangzhou, China

The city Hangzhou is commonly known as “heaven on earth” in China. We made the ancient capital of the Southern Song Dynasty a little more hardcore last Saturday with a legendary warehouse party in collaboration with B1OCK Concept Store. The event, which celebrated the opening of our DESTINY’S CHILD collection pop-up during Shanghai Fashion Week, was attended by the city’s vibrant youth scene as well as personalities such as Wiwen Wang, Ai Zhengrui, and Zhe Wang. For those who were unable to attend, we’ve got evidence that it was a banger.

Taking place in B1OCK’s warehouse that could only be accessed through a garage, visitors were met with an installation by artist Nik Kosmas, who turned the first rooms of the warehouse into a red-carpeted retail space—just like our red room in Berlin-Charlottenburg. It featured several monumental, inflatable spiders that had been morphed from our “Søren Kierkegaard” graphic t-shirts, as well as a parked Mercedes-Benz 190E, and a 032c gridded poster wall with Lil Uzi Vert and Mona & Vittoria from our Issue #43. Founded by art collector Li Lin who previously worked with Theaster Gates, B1OCK is more than just a retail store. It’s a destination for art and fashion.
