The brand welcomes JENNIFER MURRAY (Alyx, Hood by Air) as SALES DIRECTOR, READY TO WEAR. Also joining is TONY WANG (Barneys, SSENSE), as Director of Digital Strategy.
JENNIFER MURRAY will join 032c with immediate effect as SALES DIRECTOR of 032c Ready-to-Wear, which includes men’s and women’s apparel, denim, outerwear, and accessories.
Murray (formerly Williams) is the co-founder and former Sales Director of 1017 Alyx 9SM (2015-2020). From 2013-2015 she served as Sales Director at Hood by Air, where she was integral to the development and international expansion of the New York brand. “I’ve admired Jenn’s way of working for a long time, and I’m thrilled to have her at the core of the 032c brand.” says the brand’s creative director Maria Koch “She is the ideal partner for the strategic expansion of 032c Ready-to-Wear.” Her appointment as Sales Director will also integrate product development and merchandizing into the brand’s approach to Ready-to-Wear.
“I love Maria’s work as a designer and am excited to join 032c at a time when it’s really poised for growth,” says Murray, who looks forward to “taking the Ready-to-Wear to a new level, building on the recently launched collections and strong foundations in apparel.”
Also joining 032c is TONY WANG, who will serve as DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL STRATEGY across the brand’s retail and content platforms. Wang was previously Senior Vice President of Content and Brand at Barney’s New York and Director of Brand Management and Content at SSENSE, Montreal. He has also worked as a freelance strategist and brand consultant for clients including David Zwirner and Netflix. “We were colleagues at SSENSE where Tony not only explored the eternal question of the value of content, but also impressed me with his intellectual curiosity,” says 032c founder and editor-in-chief Joerg Koch. “He brings a comprehensive knowledge of data and performance analysis, creative work, and the luxury sector that make him a rare match for 032c as we transform content and commerce for the years ahead.”
032c is a media and fashion brand for the 21st century. Our workshop in Berlin-Schöneberg is a production and research center, where we assess and contribute to contemporary culture. Our findings are published digitally and as a collectible manual for freedom, research, and creativity, printed twice annually.
