032c Press Release: VICTORIA CAMBLIN Appointed Executive Editor

VICTORIA CAMBLIN has been appointed executive editor of 032c magazine with immediate effect. She will succeed Thom Bettridge, who stepped down from the role last month for family reasons and will continue his involvement from New York City as editor-at-large. Camblin was editor of 032c from 2006 – 2013 and returns to Berlin from Atlanta (USA) where she was Editor + Artistic Director of ART PAPERS, an American magazine and arts nonprofit established in 1976. Camblin has also served as editor of the online video platform NOWNESS (London) and curated exhibitions and public talks, symposia, and workshops internationally.

Of the appointment, 032c editor-in-chief Joerg Koch said: “Victoria was instrumental as an editor for 032c in the early 2010s. I am more than thrilled that she now returns to 032c in Berlin as the new executive editor after a grand tour of doing a PhD in Cambridge, commissioning videos for Nowness in London and leaving a mark in Atlanta by being the editor-in-chief of Art Papers.”

Victoria Camblin said: “032c has always been much more than ‘just a magazine’ and I’m excited and honored to be returning at such a pivotal and expansive time for the platform and for the 032c brand. We are poised to redefine what it means to publish – to change the very chemistry of editorial process, forms, and content.”

Camblin’s first issue as executive editor will be published in October 2018. For more information: office@032c.com
